Volunteer Services
The Ward Memorial Hospital Auxiliary provides opportunities for volunteers over the age of 18 to help in several areas of the Hospital.Typically referred to as "The Pink Ladies", because of their pink jackets, our Auxiliary Team is a dedicated group of volunteers who support the hospital through service and fundraising efforts. Our auxiliary currently operates the hospital gift shop, with proceeds benefiting hospital programs and services.
The Hospital Gift Shop is one of the Auxiliary's major fund-raising activities.
The Auxiliary Team has been serving the community for over 30 years and raised funds for various projects and events that enhance the lives of individuals and families in Ward County and the Permian Basin region.
We are currently welcoming new members to join the Auxiliary Team and be part of the heart of our hospital.
Volunteers play an important role in creating a positive and uplifting environment by assisting with community outreach, supporting special programs, helping in the Gift Shop, and participating in fundraising efforts that directly benefit patient care.Whether you can give a few hours a week or help occasionally with events, your time and talents will make a real difference.
As a Hospital Auxiliary volunteer, you will:
Support and encourage patients, families, and staff
Represent our hospital at community events
Contribute to fundraising for new services and equipment
Build friendships with others who share a passion for helping others
If you are looking for a rewarding way to serve your community, we would love for you to join us.
Thank you for considering this important role. Together, we can continue to ensure that exceptional care is available right here at home.
Please contact President Ruth Richardson at 432-923-3943 for more information about upcoming volunteer opportunities or stop by the Gift Shop at Ward Memorial Hospital!
