CLINIC LVN PRN - Sandhills Family Clinic

Position Summary:

The LVN is responsible for checking patients into exam room and obtaining baseline data and patient’s medical history as indicated. The LVN assists Providers with patient exams and procedures as needed and maintains patient files and performs other duties as assigned or needed to ensure smooth Clinic operations.

Essential Duties
Special skills required of the Licensed Vocational Nurse include professional demeanor, be customer service motivated and be able to communicate effectively with patients, family, and healthcare personnel.
Must be a team player.

Education, Knowledge and Skills
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Must be currently licensed in the State of Texas as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
Required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Requirements

Maintains confidentiality of all protected health information on a daily basis.
Follows safety guidelines, compliance and all policies of the Hospital.

History:

Ward Memorial Hospital is a 25-bed critical access facility providing healthcare services to Ward County and 14 surrounding counties in the area. The hospital has served residents of Ward County since 1956.

The hospital features a Level IV trauma designated emergency room, in addition to a wide range of medical services including laboratory, radiology, general surgery, sleep wellness center, respiratory therapy and cardiac/pulmonary rehab, rheumatology, physical therapy, and two rural health clinics.
