Biography:
Dr. Boccalandro received his doctorate in medicine from The University of Venezuela, Caracas, Venezuela in 1994. He continued his medical training at The University of Texas Medical School in Houston where he received his degree in Internal Medicine, completed his Fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine along with a Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology.
He is the recipient of numerous awards including the American College of Cardiology Travel Award, the Everest Research Scholarship, the Aventis Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Award and the Society of Cardiac Angiography and Interventions Fellowship Scholarship Award.
