Biography:
Dr. Castro brings a broad background in family medicine, with training and clinical experience in the United States, Europe and Latin America. He completed his medical degree at Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos in Peru and advanced specialty training in geriatric medicine at Hospital Clínico San Carlos in Madrid, Spain.
His clinical interests include preventive medicine, chronic disease management, geriatrics, musculoskeletal and functional health, and care for English- and Spanish-speaking patients. His background supports care for patients at many stages of life, from adults who are focused on prevention and wellness to older adults managing multiple health concerns.
